Frequently asked questions

Do I need a licence to rent a scooter in Phuket?

Yes. Thai law requires a Thai motorcycle licence or an International Driving Permit (IDP) with a motorcycle category, carried together with your home licence. We rent only to riders who have one.

Do you deliver scooters to hotels in Phuket?

Yes, delivery is free island-wide — Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Chalong, Kamala, Bang Tao, Kathu, Phuket Old Town and Phuket Airport. Send us your hotel name and arrival time on WhatsApp.

How much is the deposit?

A refundable cash deposit that depends on the bike — see the deposit column on our prices page. It is returned in full when the scooter comes back in the same condition.

Do I have to leave my passport?

No. We take a copy of your passport and check your licence or IDP. Keep your original passport with you — Thai law expects you to carry it.

How can I pay?

Cash, credit card or Alipay, when you receive the scooter.

Are helmets included?

Yes. Two helmets and a phone holder come with every scooter at no extra charge.

What are your opening hours?

We are open every day from 10:00 to 19:00 at 107 Phuket Road in Phuket Old Town. Deliveries can be arranged inside those hours.

Which scooter should I choose?

For one rider around town, the Honda Click 125 or Scoopy 110. For two people or hills like Patong and Kata, the Honda PCX 160, Click 160 ABS or Yamaha NMAX 155. For long highway days, the Forza 350 or ADV 350.

Can I rent for a month or longer?

Yes. We have 1-month, 2-month and 3+-month rates for every bike, and we can swap the scooter for servicing during a long rental.

What happens if the scooter is damaged?

Repair costs are taken from the deposit at local workshop rates; anything above the deposit is agreed with you directly. Compulsory Thai motor insurance covers third-party injury only, so we strongly recommend travel insurance that covers motorcycles.
