Scooter rental Phuket price list 2026

All prices in Thai baht. Daily rates are per day for the booking length shown; the monthly rate is per month. The deposit is refundable and paid in cash at handover.

Honda Scoopy 110 ฿350 ฿280 ฿250 ฿5,250 ฿2,000

Honda ADV 350 ฿1,050 ฿980 ฿800 ฿16,800 ฿8,000

Two things stand out when people read that table for the first time:

  • A week costs far less per day than two days. A Click 125 for 7 days is ฿1,750 in total; two separate 2-day rentals would already be ฿1,400. If you're staying a week, rent for the week.
  • Monthly is cheaper again. A Scoopy or Click 125 works out at ฿175 per day on the one-month rate, and two- and three-month rates drop further. The long-term monthly scooter rental guide explains how we handle service, swaps and extensions.

What drives the price

Engine size and model

The cheapest scooter rental in Phuket is always the small automatic: Scoopy 110 and Click 125 share the same rate because they cost us roughly the same to buy and run. A 160cc Click adds a little on longer rentals; the PCX 160 and NMAX 155 add more because they're bigger, heavier, liquid-cooled bikes with a 30-litre underseat box (Honda's spec for the PCX 160) and dual-channel ABS (Yamaha's spec for the NMAX). The Forza 350 and ADV 350 are 330cc maxi scooters that cost several times what a Click costs new, and the rate reflects that.

ABS

The Click 160 ABS is ฿100 more per month than the non-ABS Click 160 and otherwise identical. On wet Phuket roads in the green season, we think that's the best ฿100 on the list. Every bike from the PCX 160 upwards has ABS as standard.

Length of rental

Four price bands: 1–2 days, 3–6 days, 7–29 days, and monthly. The band is set by your total booking length, so a 7-day booking is charged at the 7–29 day rate for all seven days, not a mix.

Season

Our table doesn't change between high season (November to March) and green season. What changes is availability. In January, the PCX 160 and NMAX 155 book out days ahead, so message early. In September you can usually pick any bike the same afternoon.

Delivery location

Delivery across the island, from Rawai in the south to the airport in the north, is included. Riding to our shop and collecting the bike yourself doesn't make it cheaper; it just saves us a trip. See free scooter delivery to Phuket hotels for how it works.

What is included in the price

  • Helmets for rider and passenger. Thai law requires them, and the police enforce it.
  • Delivery and collection at hotels, villas and the airport across Phuket.
  • Compulsory Thai motor insurance (Por Ror Bor) on every bike. This covers third-party injury only; read scooter rental Phuket with insurance before you assume more.
  • A roadworthy, taxed, registered bike. GOV.UK warns that rented scooters in tourist areas are often unregistered and cannot legally be used on a public road. Ours have plates and current tax discs; check the sticker at handover.
  • A quick orientation at handover: seat lock, fuel cap, steering lock, helmet straps.

Fuel is the one thing you pay for yourself. A Click 125 goes around 50 km on a litre by the manufacturer figure we use, so a week of beach-hopping costs very little in petrol.

The deposit, explained

The deposit is a refundable cash amount held while you have the bike. It's ฿2,000 on the small scooters, ฿3,000 on the Click 160s, ฿5,000 on the PCX, ADV 160 and NMAX, and ฿8,000 on the 350s. We photograph the bike together at handover, note the fuel level, and give the deposit straight back when the bike returns in the same state. We never hold your passport instead; the passport and deposit guide explains why you should refuse any shop that asks for it.

If the bike comes back scratched or damaged, the repair cost comes out of the deposit at the actual garage price, and you see the quote.

How to pay

Rental: cash, credit card or Alipay. Deposit: cash, returned in cash.

What you need to rent at these prices

The price is the same for everyone who qualifies, and qualifying means one thing: a valid licence. Thai law requires a Thai motorcycle licence or an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle category alongside your home licence. We don't rent without it, for your sake and ours. Which bike is worth the money?

Not sure whether to pay ฿250 a day for a Click or ฿280 for a PCX? For a week in Patong riding the hill daily with a passenger, the PCX 160's extra torque and ABS earn the difference. Solo, mostly around Old Town and Chalong, the Click 125 is all you need. Which scooter to rent in Phuket: 110, 125, 160 or 350cc compares all nine.
