1. Who can rent
The renter must hold a valid Thai motorcycle licence or an International Driving Permit with a motorcycle category, presented together with the home licence, and a passport. We take a copy of the passport; the original stays with you. Read licence rules for renting a scooter in Phuket.
2. Prices, deposit and payment
Rates are per day or per month as shown on the prices page and depend on the booking length. A refundable deposit, set per bike on the same page, is paid in cash at handover and returned in full at return if the scooter is in the recorded condition. Rental and deposit are paid at handover by cash, credit card or Alipay.
3. Delivery and return
Delivery and collection anywhere on Phuket island are free within our opening hours (10:00–19:00 daily). See how delivery works. The scooter is returned at the agreed time and place with the same fuel level; missing fuel is charged at pump price.
4. Included
Two helmets, a phone holder and a handover inspection with photos. Helmets must be worn by rider and passenger at all times — see police checkpoints and helmet fines.
5. Use of the scooter
Phuket island roads only; no racing, no off-road, no riding under the influence, and no more than two people. Only riders recorded at handover may ride.
6. Damage, theft and insurance
Compulsory Thai motor insurance covers third-party injury only. Damage to the scooter is repaired at local workshop rates and deducted from the deposit; amounts above the deposit are settled with the renter. Theft or total loss is the renter's responsibility up to the bike's value. We recommend travel insurance that explicitly covers motorcycle riding — see insurance for scooter rental in Phuket.
7. Breakdown
If the scooter stops working through no fault of the renter, message us on WhatsApp and we bring a replacement.
