Patong is the busiest beach town on Phuket and the place most of our deliveries go. Our scooter rental Patong service is simple: tell us your hotel name on WhatsApp, pick a bike, and one of us rides it over the hill from our shop in Phuket Old Town. The run takes about 35 minutes in normal traffic and, like everywhere on the island, the delivery is free. If you searched for motorbike rental Phuket Patong and found only shops that make you walk to a counter in the heat, this is the alternative.
We hand over at any hotel in Patong, or at one of these spots if your guesthouse is down a narrow soi: the Jungceylon entrance on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, the Bangla Road junction with the beach road, anywhere along Patong Beach Road (Thawewong Road), or Kalim Beach at the northern end. Pick the one that is easiest for you and we will be there at the agreed time.
Have three things ready: your passport, a Thai motorcycle licence or an International Driving Permit (that is what Thai law requires, and what the police on Phra Barami Road ask to see), and the deposit. You can pay by cash, credit card or Alipay. Two helmets come with every bike. The paperwork takes five minutes on the pavement and you are off.
Patong sits in a bowl between the sea and two ridges, so every road in and out is a climb. The main one is Route 4029, Phra Barami Road, over Patong Hill to Kathu. It gains roughly 150 m in a few kilometres, trucks crawl up it in low gear, and a 110cc bike with two people and luggage will struggle. This is the single biggest reason we steer Patong customers towards 125cc and up. The southern exit to Karon on Route 4233 is shorter but just as twisty.
Inside town, the beach road and Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road form a one-way loop, so if you miss your hotel soi you go around again rather than turning back. Nanai Road, one block further up the slope, is two-way and quieter, and it is the road we use to reach hillside guesthouses. Bangla Road is closed to vehicles in the evening and becomes a walking street; do not try to ride through it. Police set up licence and helmet checks at the bottom of the hill and on the Kathu side, so keep your licence in your pocket, not in the hotel safe.
Rates for all three are in the price table.
The main strip between the beach road and Rat-U-Thit, where most scooter rental Patong Beach requests come from. Hand-over is usually at your hotel lobby.
Hotels on and around the nightlife street. We meet at the beach-road end before the evening closure.
The hillside road behind town, full of guesthouses and long-stay rooms. Quieter riding, steeper driveways.
The rocky northern bay on the way to Kamala. Fewer shops, so we usually hand over at Kalim Beach itself.
The coastal road north leads to Kamala in about 20 minutes. South over the hill is Karon. Inland, Kathu is the first town after Patong Hill and the way back to our shop.
Parking is tight along the beach road; most hotels have a bike bay, and Jungceylon has a car park with motorbike spaces. Watch for red-and-white painted kerbs, which mean no parking anywhere in Thailand. For fuel, there is a petrol station on Phra Barami Road before the hill; fill up there before any ride out of town, because the small roadside bottle vendors charge far more per litre.

Yes. We meet at the beach-road end of Bangla Road during the day. In the evening the street is closed to vehicles, so we hand over at the nearest side street to your hotel instead.
For one rider, yes. With a passenger and bags we recommend the PCX 160 or NMAX 155; the Route 4029 climb to Kathu is long and trucks slow everything down.
Regularly, especially at the foot of Patong Hill. Carry your Thai motorcycle licence or International Driving Permit and wear the helmet we give you.

Scooter Rental Phuket Delivery: Free to Your Hotel
Yes. Thai law requires a Thai motorcycle licence or an International Driving Permit to ride a scooter in Phuket. What police check, how to get an IDP, and why riding without one is a bad deal.
